Community ServicesSCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERs
Officer St. Onge works as a School Resource Officer and has worked in the schools full-time since 1995. He is assigned to the elementary schools where he teaches lessons in general safety (kindergarten-3rd grade), bullying (4th grade), and character-building (5th grade). Officer Francis Henderson works as a School Resource Officer and began this special assignment in 2012. He is assigned to Northampton High School and John F. Kennedy Middle School. In addition to his duties within the schools, Officer Henderson oversees the police department's Explorer program. Both School Resource Officers work Monday through Friday and are normally scheduled to work school hours, although they often attend meetings and special events outside of those hours. DARE Links |
